Well, most countries have spanish their official language, except Brazil. Although I believe they all have their dialect, I expect it to be clear in the TV and in national anthems.
I think I will study spanish one day. It's a beautiful language.

But there is something about the grammar......the plural "you" has two variations, one is spanish the other latin american but cuba and argentina use the spanish one.

No,but there are to versions of plural you: vos and ustedes-..ustedes is latinamerican, and vos is spanish.
vos declines the following verb always with -ais at the end and ustedes declines the verb like using ellos/they.
I don't like the sound of vos and -ais, that's all.
